Thread holder for cone thread

This is a thread holder that makes it possible to use cone thread in your regular machine. Base is of hardwood and guide is made of brass. Simply add the thread cone, guide the thread through the brass guide and to your machine as you would with any other thread. One of my seamstresses finds that running it around the post that typically holds the spool and setting a empty spool on top works best. This gives you much more sewing time without changing spools and is typically a better value than regular spool tread. I have two quilters in my family and this is an item they always travel with when going somewhere to sew. Thread is not included. Be the first in your sewing group to have one :)
